Posters of support for PLC Sydney students at the 2024 Olympics
DESCRIPTION
DescriptionA collection of seven posters made for the support/watch parties held for the 2024 Olympics to support the current and former PLC Sydney students representing Australia at the Olympics in various events.
The posters are all A3 in size and six are laminated. Of the laminated posters:
- 2 x have a red background and white text of 'GO PLC SYDNEY!'
- 2 x have a black background and green text of 'GO ELLIE!'
- 2 x have a black background and green text of 'GO KAITLIN!'.
The final poster is hand made and is yellow cardboard with green painted text that reads 'TURNING POOLS INTO PODIUMS' with a cut out picture of a podium and a headshot of Ellie Cole.
PLC Sydney had four students compete at the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics. Ellie Cole was a current Year 12 student competing in the Diving Women's 10m Platform, Sarah Clifton-Bligh was a former student competing in the Para Athletics Women's Shot Put F32 and Club Throw F32, Kendall Brodie was a former student acting as the coxswain for the Aussie Men's Eight in Rowing, and Kaitlin Nobbs was a former students competing in the Hockey Women's 12 Team Tournament.
